I live in Assen, and was born in the Netherlands 46 years ago. I suffered my
stroke 5 years ago, whilst being treated with chemotherapy for breast cancer.
I felt as if my life was over.
My left side is paralysed and so I felt I couldn’t do anything anymore. So I
became a member of Hersenletsel.nl to join a support group and found a new
love, painting. I love to create something beautiful for people to enjoy, I hope
you do too.
